Meguru writes the lyrics for the Panic Channel songs, and also composes some of the songs himself. Meguru was originally the drummer, until he said that he wanted to be the vocalist. The reason behind this was that Meguru wanted attention and to stand out. Meguru is known to be like a father figure in the band. In an interview, Takumi said that Meguru was like his dad, and also Meguru says that he is caring. Outside of his music career, he admits that he likes to sleep and just wander around. Although he says that band members do their own thing, he said that he likes to be with them just to play around. Also, if anyone sees Meguru, make sure that you're wearing a skirt! (He says that he likes to see a girl's leg. MEGURU YOU PERVERT!)
My first impression of Meguru was that he is a great vocalist. I thought that his voice was really cute (the first song I heard by Panic was Pink Cherry). When I first saw a picture of Meguru, it was him smiling innocently in a normal looking outfit. Little did I know about Panic's other side. Then I saw the Iyagarase music video and was definetely amused by Meguru. He spits out weird things, and does funny body motions. I am a big Meguru fan, and I personally think that he's a very talented vocalist. Sure, he does sound a bit off-tune, but that's what makes him special. I'm impressed that he was originally a drummer, but moved up to be such a great vocalist. I love the fact that he can look so innocent when he's in Panic, but give off such a scary look in Panikku.
